Recently, I was featured on The Reignelle—a platform that highlights women who are building from depth, not performance.
The piece is titled “Spaces Where You Can Finally Exhale.”
And honestly… I’ve never felt something describe my work more accurately.
Because that’s what Thrive Collective is.
Not just a retreat.
Not just an experience.
A space where women can finally exhale.
Why This Conversation Felt Different
What I appreciated most about this feature is that it didn’t focus on surface-level questions.
It didn’t ask about “success” in the traditional sense.
It didn’t try to package the work into something neat or easily digestible.
Instead, it went deeper.
We talked about:
- The quiet disconnect so many women feel (even when life looks good on paper)
- What actually shifts when you feel safe in your body
- The reality of building something without a blueprint
- And what it means to grow a business without losing its soul
Because the truth is—this work doesn’t fit into a traditional box.
And neither does the woman it’s for.
The Question That Started Everything
During the interview, I shared the moment that changed the trajectory of my life.
It wasn’t dramatic.
It was a quiet question that wouldn’t leave me alone:
“Is this it?”
At the time, I had built a life that looked successful.
Career. Momentum. Life in New York City.
But internally, something felt… off.
That question led me to my first retreat.
And what I experienced there wasn’t a breakthrough in the way people expect.
It was something more subtle—and more powerful:
I could hear myself again.
And once you feel that…
You can’t unfeel it.
What Most People Don’t Realize About Retreats
One of the things we unpacked in the feature is this:
Most people think retreats are about escape.
They’re not.
They’re about return.
The women who come to Thrive aren’t trying to run away from their lives.
They’re trying to come back to themselves within their lives.
Because they’ve done everything “right.”
And yet—
They don’t feel fully alive in it.
That’s the gap we work in.
The Real Work: Safety → Clarity → Change
Something I spoke about in the feature—and something I see in every single retreat—is this sequence:
When a woman feels safe in her body…
she stops overthinking.
When she stops overthinking…
she can actually hear what she wants.
And when she hears what she wants…
she starts making different decisions.
Not forced decisions.
Not reactive ones.
Aligned ones.
That’s where the real transformation happens.
Building Without Proof
Another part of the conversation that felt important to share was the reality of building Thrive.
Because it didn’t come with a clear roadmap.
There was no moment where everything felt certain.
I was still running my marketing business.
Still holding onto stability.
Still questioning if this would actually work.
And yet—I moved forward anyway.
Before the proof.
Before the validation.
Before the results.
That’s something I think we don’t talk about enough.
How much of building something meaningful requires you to trust yourself before there’s evidence.
Why “Exhale” Matters More Than You Think
If there’s one thing I hope people take from the feature, it’s this:
Most women don’t realize how much they’re holding.
The tension.
The pressure.
The constant low-level “on.”
And when that finally drops—
even just a little—
everything shifts.
That’s what I’ve built Thrive Collective around.
Not fixing.
Not forcing.
Creating the conditions where a woman can finally soften, and from that place… everything else unfolds.
