Seven Senses Retreat · Ubud, Bali
There are parts of you that cannot be accessed by thinking harder.
They emerge through sensation. Through movement. Through play. Through breath. Through presence. Through feeling safe enough in your body to actually experience your life again.
Why this retreat exists
So many of us are disconnected from ourselves without even realizing it.
Overthinking instead of feeling. Performing instead of receiving. Living from stress responses instead of genuine desire, pleasure, curiosity, and aliveness.
This retreat is a journey through the senses. Not just the five you learned about growing up — but the deeper internal senses too: intuition, rhythm, emotional awareness, energetic attunement. The ability to feel yourself clearly and trust what your body is communicating.
This work is deep — but it doesn't have to be heavy. Healing can feel rich, beautiful, connective, joyful, playful, expansive.
Over six nights in Ubud, we'll explore the body as a guide — through sensory experiences, embodied movement, nervous system work, yoga, breathwork, ecstatic dance, sound healing, ritual, nature immersion, play, connection, and rest.
The journey
Seven senses. Six nights. One body — yours.
Every experience on this retreat is chosen to reawaken a specific way of feeling. This is the map.
Touch
Three 60-minute Balinese massages. The shock of the cold plunge and the melt of the sauna. Bare feet on jungle earth. Your body remembering it has a surface.
Taste
Chef-prepared Balinese meals, ceremonial cacao, free-flowing tropical fruit, fresh coconut. And a cooking class with the head chef — so one taste of this week comes home with you.
Sound
Sound healing that moves through you rather than past you. The jungle at night. Gamelan in the distance. The difference between hearing and listening.
Sight
Sunrise from a volcano. Fire ceremony after dark. Rice terraces in every shade of green. Beauty as a practice, not a backdrop.
Rhythm
Daily yoga in the open-air shala. Breathwork that changes your state without a single thought. Ecstatic dance — moving because your body wants to, not because anyone's watching.
Emotion
Nervous system work that helps you feel safe enough to feel. Space held for whatever surfaces. Connection with men and women doing the same brave thing you are.
Intuition
Melukat — the Balinese water purification ceremony. Ritual, rest, and enough stillness to hear the voice you've been talking over. Trusting what your body is communicating.
How it feels to arrive
Bali starts working on you immediately.
You're welcomed, Balinese-style
A traditional welcome ceremony, a welcome drink and chocolate, your room decorated for your arrival, and a gift waiting. Two airport pickups are covered — you're met the moment you land.
You're held all week
A personal retreat manager is on site for the entire stay. Questions, logistics, "where do I need to be" — handled. Your only job is to be in your body.
You're never hungry, never rushed
Six full breakfasts, chef-set lunches and dinners, free-flow coconut, herbal tea, coffee, premium drinks, fruit, and snacks. All taxes and service included — no surprise math.
What's included
Six nights. Everything below. One decision.

Where you'll be
A jungle-view sanctuary in Ubud.
Ubud is Bali's spiritual heart — rice terraces, temple bells, jungle ravines, and a pace of life organized around ceremony rather than schedules. Your home for the week sits in the middle of it: a jungle-view villa with an open-air yoga shala, sauna and cold plunge, and a kitchen that treats every meal as part of the retreat.
Your guides
Two women who lead from the body.
Rachel Gromova
Rachel’s been a licensed occupational therapist (OTR/L) since 2015, but her work has never really fit into one box. Her clinical background taught her how the body works. Her own healing journey taught her to look deeper, and then shifted her career.
In 2017, Rachel was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and became determined to find answers beyond medication. That journey taught her how deeply the nervous system, body, lived experience, and emotional patterns are connected — which led her into the last 8+ years of holistic wellness coaching.
Since then, she’s transformed the lives of countless clients through her signature program, hosted seven luxury wellness retreats, authored a cookbook and a guided journal, and worked as a personal trainer and group fitness coach.
Today, Rachel’s work centers on helping people navigate seasons of change, get back into loving relationship with themselves, and tap into their own intuition. Through nervous system regulation, embodiment, spirituality, and integration, she helps people get clear on what they actually want — and turn that into aligned action.
She believes that healing shouldn’t be anyone’s entire identity. Healing is about taking what you learn about yourself and then living as the most authentic, happiest version of yourself.
Her favorite mantra that you’ll probably hear her say at least once: “You can actually do whatever the fuck you want.”
