During my time on the retreat I had the pleasure of participating in a temazcal ceremony with a Mayan elder, Tata, which was incredibly impactful. It was a powerful guided meditation that lasted 2 hours in the dense heat and really brought you to the edge. Even though my time post-trip has been hectic and exhausting both mentally and physically, I feel spiritually so much lighter.

I am doing so very well actually. I have a man in my life that I’ve met that I’ve truly never felt this way about any other guy, and I believe the feelings are mutual. We both are just like each other’s peace and calm and comfort, and it’s just such a lovely feeling. It’s something that I have not felt—I don’t think ever. I don’t know, everything just feels so right.
And I don’t think I would’ve been able to attract and find a man like this had it not been for me putting in all this work on healing myself and learning what my flaws are when it comes to my anxious attachment and all of that, and just really diving deep and figuring that out about myself.
And honestly, I could not have done it without the help of you guys and that retreat. I mean, that was absolutely a lifesaver. Life-changing for me.
